paper towels – Complete Review 2025
The new Scott paper towels, Task Size, 30 Family Double Rolls, 119 Sheets Per Roll deliver a blend of value and versatility for household cleaning in 2025. Right from the packaging, these double rolls impress with their bulk offering and handy sheet selection.
Each roll gives you plenty of absorbent sheets, while the brand’s deep cleaning ridges promise thorough kitchen cleanup and everyday cleaning. The family size bundle ensures you’re stocked up for weeks, minimizing last-minute store trips—perfect for busy homes or large families needing a reliable product for messy spills and tough jobs.
With virtually lint free results and “choose a sheet” convenience, Scott towels are crafted for those who like efficiency and simplicity. According to Scott Brand, this model delivers a strong clean and is designed to handle a range of tasks around the house.
Key Features of the paper towels

- Choose-A-Sheet Convenience: The “choose a sheet” option lets you select the exact amount needed for any task—eliminating unnecessary waste.
- Bulk Paper Towels Value: 30 double rolls in a pack, each with 119 sheets, ideal for family size households or high-usage kitchens.
- Virtually Lint Free: These sheets leave surfaces spotless without any residue, perfect for glass, electronics, and kitchen counters.
This model is tailored for everyday cleaning routines, whether you’re doing a big kitchen cleanup or simply tackling minor household chores.
Real-World Performance Testing
During hands-on testing, the paper towels delivered excellent absorbency and did not fall apart during kitchen cleanup, even when mopping up 12 ounces of water or thick sauce. When using the paper towels for deep cleaning ridges on stovetops and countertops, the sheets held up under pressure and proved highly effective for both greasy pans and quick spills.
The virtually lint free claim holds true—mirrors and windows were left streak-free. The ability to select a custom sheet size through “choose a sheet” perforation prevents unnecessary waste, so you use only what you need, which is a major plus with bulk paper towels.
Some limitations include thinner texture compared to premium kitchen rolls and the need for multiple sheets on extremely heavy jobs. However, for regular family size messes, absorbing everyday cleaning challenges is a breeze. According to this Golly Express review, Scott’s option delivers more sheets per dollar and stands up to daily use better than many store brands.
How It Compares to Alternatives
Compared to brands like Bounty and Brawny, this product offers more bulk value and the convenience of choose-a-sheet flexibility at a lower price point. While Bounty delivers slightly better absorbency and sheet strength for heavy-duty jobs, Scott’s family double rolls come out ahead in cost-for-sheet and suitability for large households.
Competitors such as Sparkle offer comparable sheet counts but lack the strong deep cleaning ridges found here. Scott towels remain ideal for those focused on long-term savings and efficiency in household cleaning.
Who Should Buy This Product?
This tool is a fit for busy families, those with large kitchens, and anyone who hosts frequent gatherings. High-volume users will appreciate the generous pack size and quick kitchen cleanup for everyday needs. Budget-conscious shoppers looking to buy in bulk will find this model’s value especially appealing.
Those who use minimal paper towels, or prefer ultra-thick plush options for specialty tasks, may want to consider a different style. If lint control or glass cleaning is your main need, this is an excellent choice.
